Waitkoff's Word September 25th-29th

Our fourth graders had Science Day this past Friday. We appreciate Purdue for continuing to host this event for our 3rd and 4th grade classes. In reading, we will begin a novel titled Monster's Ring. We will also be looking at comparing the points of views of various texts. In math, we will be working on 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. In Spelling, we are on Unit 6 words. Our spelling list can be found on the Spelling City app, or it is given out on Mondays during class time. The directions on how to access the words on Spelling City are located behind your child's spelling tab. As we are nearing the end of our first quarter, we have been observing many discipline issues with 4th graders while at recess and in the cafeteria. It is important that our students follow the ABC's of Sailing expectations in these parts of the school as well as in the classrooms. To help limit some of these issues, we will have a structured recess for 4th grade and continue to review these on a daily basis. Please take the time to speak with your child about the importance of maintaining good behavior at school. Thanks for your continue support.
