Waitkoff's Word September 5th-8th

I hope that everyone is enjoying their three day weekend with family and friends. Due to our short week, we will not have a spelling list or test this week. We will continue with working on writing complete sentences and beginning to compose our own narratives. In Social Studies, your child should be studying how to name and spell their address, city, county, state, region, country, continent, planet, and galaxy. We will work on this for about two weeks and have our unit test. In math, we will begin our multiplication unit and learn theme/main idea in reading. As always, students should be reading at least 20 minutes every night and keeping up with the 20 AR and AM points for the quarter.
