Waitkoff's Word August 14th-18th

Our first week of school went by so fast. The students are starting to get back into the swing of things (along with the teachers). We had a great turn out at Open House and our IPAD meeting. In the upcoming week we will begin using our IPAD during instructional times, and it is our hope to begin sending them home in the next week or so. Please be patient as we are getting them set up with apps and how to type our homework on the Keynote app. In the upcoming week, we will be taking the Reading and Math STAR tests. This assessment will be only one of the pieces of data that helps teachers determine the math and reading groups. Your child will start switching to their reading and math teachers on the third week of school. You will be seeing a note coming home about who your child's teacher will be.
